Hi I'm 57 years old from Calgary ,Alberta. I was diagnosed with stage 3 non small cell lung cancer in February /98. Quite a scare & rude awaking but after some why me's a tough but educational journey. I was on a trial & had chemotherapy, radiation & 1/3 of my right lung removed.It was not an easy journey but along the way I met some wonderful people. I believe a positive attitude helped me as well as some wonderful people who I'm lucky to have as friends today. I recently went back to work in my profession of towing & recovery (Aug./00) after a 2 year absence, which felt great. Let me say something about the WONDERFUL folks on this web page & chat line. First they taught this newbie all about the net & they made me feel at ease with there patience. They showed me I was not alone & they new all about my fears & even joys. As you can see love them a lot & I would definitely recommend the to anyone who has or has a loved one with cancer. We understand as I believe few others can. Gerry Davis aka. Gerrycan
