Hi there! My name is Holly and I am a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Stage IIb. I was diagnosed in April of 97 and completed my last dose of chemo (no radiation) on Septemeber 17, 1997. Since then, I have had no sign of any cancer anywhere.
When I found out about the cancer, I was shocked! However, I found great support at the cancer survivor's chat room and discovered many others who were going through the same thing. I learned a lot about other cancers and their treatments and heard about successes each week - this made it very encouraging and easier to cope with chemo knowing that others are going through the same thing! Check it out!
Now, I am back to a very busy life with my husband Steve, my son Kyle and my job as a laboratory supervisor. Life is normal once again. I thank God, my family, and my wonderful friends (especially those at work) for all their support and help!
