Treated with two operations followed with focused radiation theropy. No change in remaining portion of tumor noted since 1985. Now only going in for check-up every 12 months.Had to learn to talk again, now doing very well, except when very tired. Also developed grand and pettimal siesures that are pretty well under control. What a small price to pay!: I'm very lucky to be alive, he says, and thanks God for allowing him to see his son, now 16, grow into a young man and for his loving wife who is always there, in good times and bad. He feels happy to be able to help others who also have cancer. He feels that all the "gang" at the chat line each night give him strenght, and they have shown him that we are not alone.
