He is Jim Griffin, (aka pilot) from Arlington, Texas. Aged 69, Jim is a prostate cancer survivor, with a prostatectomy in September, 1995 and a urinary sphincter implant in April, 1996. He is retired from the aerospace industry, and is a former Navy pilot. Jim is active on the Internet and helps council men and their families regarding prostate cancer. He loves to cook, fiddle with his Mac, flies large radio-controlled model airplanes, and smells the flowers. He is married, with 4 grown children and 3 grandchildren. Trust me, this pilot of ours flies very high on my list of very nice people. Jim is very open and very helpful to others who have gone through his particular illnes.
