I
am a survivor of Large cell diffuse histiocytic lymphoma stage 111b. Had stem
cell (autolugous bone marrow transplant) five years ago. 18 months post transplant
I lost most of my immune system but have done very well so far aside from infections.
This has been a fairly good year for me.
I was born in New Jersey and moved to Florida when I was 5. Lived off and on in Miami for 37 years except my college, travels and airline career with Northeast Airlines in the 60's.
Right now I work in retail jewelry sales for the largest retail jewelry company in the world. I also work with cancer patients when referred by my oncologist. I am only support for those that are candidates for stem cell procedure. I hope to work for Hospice in the coming year as a Hospice companion, but this is only if I can arrange this with my company or find other work. Ideally, I would like my own business. My dream is to open a bead store here in Winchester, Va. I am female, 53, single and love to talk to other survivors. My real name is Bonnie.
