Hello I am Jennifer
a.k.a. _Silken_. I am a survivor of childhood cancer. I had osteosarcoma when
I was 11 in 1984. The treatment was an amputation (right leg above knee) and about
a year of chemo. A week or so after my last chemo treatment I had a relapse in
the form of a lung tumor that they found out after removal was benign. I am now
cancer free and will be for 13 years this thanksgiving ('98). I am so grateful
to have met this wonderful group of people. If you have any questions or if I
