I came to the cancer-survivors chat channel in aug.97. It was the beginning of my battle with glioblastoma. It was a week after I found out I had another relapse. I had fouht the battle before but when I was told it was back I was told I would have to fight even harder this time.

I was really scared, but found comfort an encouragement after meeting my first cancer-survivor friend MaryS. I soon met the other regulars and was welcomed into this uniqe and special family. They all understood when I was too tired to chat and just watched. They also readily accepted my dcc reqests and chatted with me privately. I encourage anyone to come join this family and meet these people I tell you about. When you feel down, if you hav questions, want to share good news, feel lonely, or just need a frend, come join the cancer-survivors chat channel - you won't be disappointed.

I have been through over a year of nearly weekly chemo. Surviving chemo is the hardest part. I know I woudn't have gotten through without the support of my c-s family. Thanks and bless you all!! If you are going through chemo or radiation, remember; tomorrow will be better than today, today better than yesterday. and it usually is.

In November '98, my treatments will be complete. I am anxious to get some normalcy back in my life. I'm ready now to get out and do as much as I am able. My interests include music, animals & nature, poetry, IRC/ICQ, and spending time at my favorite place along the rocky shores of Maine.

Come join us on IRC cancer-survivors chat channel. the "kewlsest" channel on IRC. hugssss n smilessss "yesterday is history; tomorrow is a mystery; today is the present because it's a gift from god"
