Hi. I am 22 years old, surviving from Hodkins Disease Stage III-B that was discovered as a lump above my collar bone at age 17. I graduated from the U of MO in May of '97 and have gone on to work first as a Personnel Manager in a small placement agency, and more recently, secured a position as a Human Resources Specialist at the May Company.
I came to cancer-survivors in '96, after my dad, ^^JR^^, discovered it (be sure to see his bio as well). We have both found many wonderful friends here who have the same love and greatfulness for life that we have.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I believe that I have been healed, and I thank the Lord every day for my life and for my incredible parents and wonderful family and friends. Remember to keep believing. A positive mental attitude and good support system can do wonders for any ailment, for survivors, and others alike!
